Employer of Record (EOR)
Remote’s Employer of Record solutions lets companies hire, pay, and manage employees in countries that don’t have their own business entity. Remote EOR reduces the time it takes to onboard international employees and removes barriers to the business, administrative, and legal overhead of creating entities in each and every country you want to hire.

Integration
How it works.
Remote’s integration with BambooHR empowers companies to seamlessly hire and manage their global workforce.
The employee data sync integrations automates onboarding across EOR and Global Payroll employees, as well as Contractors. When an employee is hired in BambooHR, multiple data fields will automatically sync to Remote to complete the onboarding process without the manual data duplication. Any changes to existing employees made in BambooHR will sync to Remote as well.
The time off sync consolidates the PTO management process by keeping BambooHR as the system of truth. Employees can add and edit their time off in BambooHR and once it’s approved it will automatically sync to Remote and inform payroll processing and remaining PTO balances.
How to Install
Remote users with Admin permissions can initiate the integration setup in Remote under the BambooHR section of the Integrations page. You will need to input specific credentials from BambooHR. If you’re using the time-off sync, then you will also need to enable the feature and map time-off types between the two systems.
Steps to Install
To enable the BambooHR integration, you will need to link your BambooHR account to your Remote account.
1. Once you're in your Remote account, go to the `Integrations` tab and click on `Add` from the BambooHR integration card.
2. Under Configure your BambooHR integration, click on `Add` next to the BambooHR Integration option.
3. Submit your BambooHR subdomain in the popup. This will often be the same as your company name. For example, if you sign in to BambooHR at [acme.bamboohr.com](http://acme.bamboohr.com/), then you would enter acme as your subdomain.
4. Next, you will need to submit your BambooHR login credentials in the popup window. Your credentials will be used to securely sync your BambooHR account to Remote.
5. Once you’ve received the success message, you can close the pop-up window. That’s it — your integration setup is complete!
6. To use the time-off sync, first map your time-off types. Go to **Time off preferences** in the BambooHR integration page and use the drop-downs to accurately map time-off types.
7. Then, turn on the time-off syncs by turning the toggle on for **Enable sync for time off requests**
How to Use It
1. Ensure the personal email or the work email on BambooHR match the email the employee has on the Remote platform.
2. Ensure their employment status on BambooHR is either Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contractor.
3. Mark which employees to sync
4. For EOR/CM customers: Assign employees to the “Remote” Pay Group on BambooHR (or use [custom field "Sync to Remote?"](https://support.remote.com/hc/en-us/articles/9685454447629-I-don-t-have-the-Pay-Group-field-available-in-BambooHR) as alternative)
5. For GP customers: Assign employees to the right entity using custom field ‘[Entity Name For Remote](https://support.remote.com/hc/en-us/articles/25985560514189-BambooHR-Integration-for-Global-Payroll-Employees)’. It should match your entity name in Remote for the country, where an employee is employed.
This may take a couple hours to sync over to Remote (customer can also force a manually sync from the Remote platform).
This should also be done for employees who are already created on Remote, so we properly link them:
1. to keep their details in sync; and
2. to allow future functionality, such as time-off syncing.
3. If customers want to include syncs for future approved time off requests, then in addition to the above, they will do the following:
