Adjust Deduction Start and End Dates During a Payroll Run

Now, it’s easier than ever to manage deductions in BambooHR Payroll. With this update, you’ll be able to start or end a deduction early, reactivate a recently ended deduction, and pull any ended deductions from the current year into your payroll run.

The “Upcoming Changes to Deductions” table on the Payment Details page lists all benefit deductions that are starting or ending soon. If you need them to start or end immediately, you can simply click End Now or Start Now!

If you need to reactivate a one-time deduction that has ended within this year, click Activate One-Time Deduction and select the corresponding deduction. Please note that deductions added in this way will only be added to the current payroll for the employee whose payment details page you’re viewing. Don’t forget to save your changes!
