Benefit History Table Revamp

Managing employee benefits can be complex due to frequent changes in benefit eligibility and enrollment data. Employees and carriers often seek clarification on benefit changes, making it essential to track these changes effectively.

To address these challenges and improve clarity, we have updated the Benefits History table on the employee profile with new features to provide HR admins with a comprehensive, searchable history of an employee’s benefits in BambooHR.

The Benefit History table now includes the following information:

1. Filter: The employee’s benefit history is filtered by event type (e.g., changes in eligibility, plan costs, pay schedule, enrollment), plan type, and/or who made the change

2. Date/Time: When a change to a benefit plan or an employee's benefit information occurred

3. Event: Details of the change

4. Plan: The benefit plan affected by the change

5. Changed By: The user who made the change

6. Details: Additional details about the benefit change, including any comments made about the change

7. View All History: Shows the full history of benefit changes related to the employee
